Pathways to Independence – Maidstone Offender Projects

Service description

In Maidstone we can offer accommodation to both men and women who are currently under the National Probation Services, CRC or who have a history of offending behaviour.

The projects are run by a Head of Service, Senior Support Coach, 3 x Support Coaches, a part time Housing Management Officer and a night concierge.

The service is uniquely funded by its referral partners, which means that referrals can only be made by Maidstone Borough Council, Canterbury City Council, Tunbridge Wells Borough Council, Medway Council, the CRC, and the National Probation Service.

Resdients can stay at the service for a maximum of a year.

There are 31 bed spaces in total, which comprise of:

  • Link House (14): Male only, medium to high support risk and needs. Shared facilities.
  • Tumim House (9): Mixed, low to medium needs, with a mixture of risk levels. Each resident has a self-contained flat.
  • Newlyn Court (2x2): Mixed, low to medium needs with a mixture of risk levels. Shared facilities.
  • Randall Street (4): Mixed, low to medium needs with a mixture of risk levels. Shared facilities.

Pathways’ Maidstone Offender Projects referral come directly from referral partners.
