Read moreSIG Penrose – Holman House is a 19-bed residential support service for people with mental health issues and additional support needs who are homeless and wish to engage with support to increase their levels of independence.
We provide short-term support that enables recovery, stabilisation, mental health management and life skills development to help people rebuild their independent living skills, engage with other local vital services, and access suitable intermediate or long-term housing.
At Holman House, you can access a safe, peaceful, supportive living environment that feels homely and welcoming and enables progress. This progress is achieved through productive interaction with Support Workers, increasing cooperative behaviour, enhancing the quality of relationships, and ultimately facilitating behaviour change.
We encourage service residents to lead in creating support plans based on Recovery Star™ coordinated with support staff and external agencies. Support focuses on:

All referrals come through Bedford Borough Council.
