What Do We Offer?

Annual Leave Entitlement

 

Increases with length of service. Everyone starts on 25 days annual leave and this increases to 26 days after two years of employment and after that by one day per additional year, up to 30 days!

 

Access to our Employee Assistance Programme

 

If your health and wellbeing are affected to support you we have the services of an organisation called the Employee Assistance Programme, who provide a counselling, support and advice service which may be of assistance to you during this process. It is a completely free and confidential service.

 

Bereavement Counselling

 

We understand that coping with the loss of a loved one can be an incredibly challenging and emotional experience. To support our employees who have experienced loss, we have a free bereavement counselling service available.

 

The bereavement counselling service offers up to four confidential and professional counselling sessions to help employees navigate through the grief and provide a safe space to express their feelings, which is available to employees and their immediate family.

 

Regular Reflective Practice Sessions

 

You can practice reflection within the workplace or as part of your general personal wellbeing. It has many benefits at both a personal and professional level and can help you to focus on planning for future experiences. We provide regular group sessions to prevent isolation, prevent burnout, offer different perspectives, develop understanding of practice, prevent stagnation, to help processing emotions, to be creative, cope with stress and build resilience, reduce absenteeism and presenteeism, etc.

  • Monthly All Staff Webinar – Delivered by our CEO, a chance to ask questions in the regular Q&A sessions!

  • Service/Team collaboration – Each team in the organisation have their own ways of working and collaborating with each other and are given the flexibility and empowerment to create a culture of belonging, inclusivity and team bonding!

  • Workplace pension: We offer a standard workplace pension, which you will take with you if you leave SIG in the future. This is a 5% employee contribution and a 3% employer contribution.
  • Employee discount programme: As an employee of Social Interest Group, you are given access to retail discounts and savings from BenefitHub at no cost to you. BenefitHub offers easy-to-use, everyday savings including promotional codes, cashback, and discounted gift cards.
  • Group Life Insurance: Life Assurance policies pay a lump sum benefit to your nominated beneficiaries (at the discretion of Trustees) in the event of your death, whilst an employee of Social Interest Group
