A Decade of Impact and Growth at Social Interest Group
Read moreSarah is a Service User within our Brighton Trailblazer service, who has recently completed a programme of recovery and been supported to get her own home.
The aim of the Trailblazer service is to reduce numbers in emergency and temporary accommodation in Brighton & Hove. The project raises awareness of local housing difficulties and supports solutions through education and partnership working. Staffed by a single worker who is integrated into the wider Brighton services, the project works to inform and assist planned moves or sustain accommodation, to help dispel myths around intentional homelessness as a route to social housing.
Sarah’ poem describes her personal experiences and journey. Sarah, you inspire us with your strength.
