Read moreBased in Ealing, SIG Equinox Solace is a daily out-of-hours mental health resource centre for adults with long and enduring mental health problems, including schizophrenia, bipolar, anxiety, depression and dual diagnosis.
The Solace Centre is a service that helps people who live in the Ealing Borough combat loneliness and isolation through social inclusion.
We offer a community-based mental health support network, improving resilience by bridging inequalities and the stigma attached to mental health by supporting our members to live independently and lead more healthy, self-managed lives with a sense of belonging, purpose and well-being as part of the community.
The Solace Centre is a vital inclusive hub with over 74 members where people can meet in a safe, relaxed, accepting environment to socialise, support one another through lived experience and make new friends.
Access to this service starts with a referral from a mental health professional, your key worker or your GP. People successfully referred are invited to an induction, following this, they can join as visitors from Monday to Friday between 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Visitors can progress to members over time. There is an annual cost of our membership is £20.00 per year. Our members have a say on upcoming groups and events depending on interest, and are a part of the day-to-day running, encouraging confidence, promoting and enhancing capabilities.
SIG Equinox Solace Members can seek assistance, advice and reassurance from staff who go the extra mile to tackle health and wellbeing barriers. We embrace member involvement, learning and development to support challenges and growth opportunities and offer:
