Read moreIn Lewisham, our Complex Mental Health Supported Accommodation and Assertive Outreach Service supports adults with mental health needs, often with secondary support needs around substance use, forensic histories, and histories of homelessness. The service aims to empower and enable them to move on to greater independence and more fulfilling lives.
We work with people to help them develop coping strategies and supportive relationships to empower them to maintain their mental health. We also encourage them to join the broader community by providing volunteering, education, or social placements.
The service operates across six sites, creating a pathway to support step-down and progression comprising a high support service and three step-down properties, accommodating up to 29 residents. We also help people who live in independent living accommodations.
