SIG Penrose – Focus aims to help reduce re-offending risks and keep the community safe. The service extends over six sites in Lambeth, providing high, medium and low-support residential resettlement and floating support services.
High-support services are for men recovering from and living with forensic mental health disorders.
Focus offers early intervention in the management of mental health relapses. We reduce the cause of long-term hospitalisation by working with service residents to develop their Recovery Plan based on the South London and Maudsley and Lambeth support recovery model and Recovery Star™.
We help minimise the risks of people re-entering the Criminal Justice System by providing behavioural programmes that address the underlying causes of their offending behaviour. Focus works closely with other Lambeth-based organisations to help reintegrate people into the local community.
Adult men recovering from or living with forensic mental health illness requiring high residential support.
Referrals are through South London and Maudsley and Lambeth Mental Health Team.
