This season, join us in spreading warmth, joy, and hope to those in need through our Christmas appeals. At Social Interest Group, we support marginalised people across mental health services, women’s refuges, and housing projects, and your generosity can create lasting change.
Whether it’s providing essentials for someone living alone, supporting families facing crisis, or creating meaningful activities for those rebuilding their lives, every donation counts.
Donate today and help bring hope to someone’s holiday season. Visit our donation pages now to get involved. Thank you for your kindness and seasonal goodwill!

Let’s create brighter futures this holiday season together
This Christmas, we’re raising £1,000 to keep our doors open for people who feel lonely.
Loneliness hits hardest at Christmas. Please help us be there for the 600 people we keep connected. For many, we are the only social contact they have outside their homes. As one member put it simply:
“I wouldn’t be alive today without Roots.”
We are 100% reliant on donations. For over 12 years, every seed planted, every meal shared, every friendship formed has started with your support. Help us show people they are not alone.
Your gift can make a difference:
Every pound raised, up to and beyond our £1000 target, will go to SIG Penrose Roots for materials and sessions to support members through community-based recovery activities.
Your support creates ripple effects across Luton.
While members heal and grow, they give back—donating thousands of kilograms of fresh food to local food banks and volunteering thousands of hours in local conservation. By supporting Roots, you’re investing in a healthier, more connected Luton for everyone.

For many single mums facing crisis, homelessness, and the threat of family separation, we are their last hope, the only support service standing between them and losing their children to care.
Our core funding bridges the gap between crisis and stability by providing vital temporary accommodation and specialist support, enabling mothers to rebuild their lives and keep families together.
What Bridge House means to mothers living here:
“Bridge House provides friendship and support at challenging times in your life – the feeling that you are not alone.”
“Bridge House gives me space and confidence in myself and my parenting skills. My children improve their social skills by interacting with others.”

Your gift this Christmas can give mothers the support they need:
Every pound raised, up to and beyond our £1000 target, will go to SIG Penrose Bridge House for materials and sessions to support families receiving support there.
Please give now and help us keep families in Luton together this Christmas—and every day.
