Our Commitment to High Standards

  • Adhere to the Fundraising Code of Practice
  • Monitor fundraisers, volunteers, and third parties for compliance
  • Comply with charity and fundraising laws
  • Display the Fundraising Regulator badge to demonstrate good practice

 

Clear, Honest, and Open Communication

  • Always tell the truth and avoid exaggeration
  • Use donations as promised
  • Be transparent about our identity and activities
  • Clearly explain how to make or change a donation
  • Disclose third-party fundraising relationships and financial arrangements
  • Justify fundraising costs when challenged
  • Ensure our complaints process is accessible and transparent

 

 

Respect and Privacy

  • Respect your rights and privacy.
  • Avoid undue pressure to donate and respect decisions not to give
  • Have a procedure for vulnerable individuals, available upon request
  • Obtain consent before contacting you for fundraising
  • Comply with preferences on communication methods

 

Fair and Reasonable Practices

  • Treat donors and the public fairly, adapting to individual needs
  • Avoid causing distress or anxiety with our materials
  • Prevent nuisance or disruption to the public

 

Accountability and Responsibility

  • Manage resources responsibly, considering the impact on donors and the public
  • Address complaints and feedback appropriately
  • Provide and publicize our complaints procedure, including contact details for the Fundraising Regulator
  • Monitor and share complaint data with the Fundraising Regulator
