Opening Doors to New Opportunities

With the opening of two new Independent Approved Premises this year, there has been plenty to celebrate across SIG Penrose. Colleagues, partners and stakeholders joined us at the Open Day events for Penrose Havering IAP in July and Penrose Bermondsey IAP in September, marking two significant milestones in the growth of our Criminal Justice services.

These events provided an opportunity to showcase the hard work, dedication and expertise of our teams, while highlighting our shared commitment to supporting rehabilitation, reducing reoffending and protecting the public. Guests were able to tour the services, meet staff and learn more about the vital role Independent Approved Premises play in helping residents build positive futures.

One message came through clearly in the feedback from both events: the passion and commitment of our teams. From the warm welcome offered to visitors to the thoughtful design of the buildings, every aspect reflected a clear focus on creating safe, supportive environments where people can make lasting positive changes to their lives.

While the opening of these new services is a major achievement, it is also the beginning of an exciting new chapter. We would like to thank everyone whose hard work, collaboration and determination helped bring these projects to life. The pride, professionalism and dedication demonstrated across both teams were evident throughout the events and leave us confident that Penrose Havering and Penrose Bermondsey will make a lasting difference in the communities they serve.
