A service providing short‑term, trauma‑informed support for adults experiencing a mental health crisis. It offers a safe, therapeutic alternative to A&E or hospital admission.
Our goal is to offer rapid, person‑centred support in a calm, homely and non‑clinical setting, reducing distress and promoting recovery.

For adults at risk of hospital admission but who can be safely supported outside an inpatient ward.
Support can include:


We support adults (18+) in mental health crisis who are safe to be treated outside hospital. All admissions are clinically assessed for suitability.
Referrals come through ELFT Crisis Pathway Teams, including CRHTT, CMHTs and inpatient discharge teams. The service accepts referrals 24/7, with decisions made within four hours and discharge planning beginning immediately after admission.
