SIG ECCS Launches in Brighton & Hove: A Lifeline for People with Complex Needs

The Equinox Community Care & Support (ECCS) service has launched in Brighton & Hove, offering vital floating support to individuals facing substance use, mental health challenges, dual diagnoses, homelessness and trauma.

Building on the success of its sister service, Penrose Community Care & Support (PCCS) in London, ECCS delivers flexible, community-based care directly to people in their homes, supported housing, or hospital settings.

ECCS provides:

  • Relapse prevention and harm reduction for substance use
  • Mental health and medication support
  • Integrated care for dual diagnoses
  • Housing advocacy and tenancy sustainment
  • Support with daily living and social inclusion

Already well-received by local referral agencies, ECCS aims to reduce crisis interventions and hospital admissions by offering early, person-centred support.
