A female-only residential service providing vital temporary accommodation and support for single women and women with children at risk of Domestic Abuse.
Our Refuge Service in West London is a female-only residential service providing vital temporary accommodation and support for single women and women with children who have taken the brave step to leave an abusive environment.
We offer a therapeutic, safe, and supportive environment where women are empowered to develop the skills and resilience to move on to safer, long-term accommodation and rebuild confidence and self-esteem.
Our residential service extends over three sites and has 19 units of accommodation for women and their families at risk of Domestic Abuse. We engage positively with women to identify their needs and where they have choice, control and care. We develop holistic support plans, from essential advice and guidance around resettlement and gaining and sustaining independent living to more intense support, integral to our support programme to prepare women and their families for the next part of their journey.
We have dedicated children’s and family workers who specialise in supporting parents and children to manage the impact of traumatic and negative experiences as quickly as possible. Our dedicated support team provide support in a flexible, individualised and trauma-informed way so that women and children.
Expectant mothers, mothers with children under the age of 16 and single women aiming to have guardianship of their children at risk of domestic abuse. Please note that we cannot accept referrals from women living in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea.
