Accommodation and support service for men leaving prison, providing high levels of support, supervision and complex care.
Penrose Drive offers 24/7 accommodation and support for men who have offended and are currently under license, aiding their transition back into the community. Our service is designed to bridge the critical gap between prison and community life, fostering positive relationships that empower those in our care to build independent, crime-free lives.
At Penrose Drive, we excel in providing intensive support, supervision, and complex care. As a community-based public protection and rehabilitation service, we specialise in assisting individuals who may pose public safety risks. We work in close collaboration with the Police, The Probation Service, and Community Mental Health Teams to ensure comprehensive support. Our goal is to create a welcoming home where residents actively engage in planning their future from the very first day.
Our structured programs are designed to address the 7 Pathways of Reducing Reoffending for men while also meeting Social Value Criteria. Residents participate in a minimum of six hours of activities each week, focused on improving health and wellbeing, enhancing community integration, and reducing economic inequality. In addition, our Support Coaches provide weekly one-on-one sessions to help residents stay accountable and advance through their Move On plan.
