In Solidarity with Women – Poem
1 August 2022Our Brighton Women’s Service and its residents felt very strongly about supporting American women with regards to the Supreme Court’s decision to reverse Roe vs Wade.
Roe v. Wade was a landmark decision of the U.S. Supreme Court in which the Court ruled that the Constitution of the United States generally protects a pregnant woman’s liberty to choose to have an abortion.
This decision, if upheld, that will endanger the lives of women who might seek illegal abortions, and in particular women experiencing financial disadvantage.
