On Wednesday 20th September, Greg Tythe, Director of Development, Marketing and Communications, Veronica Claridi, Service Manager of Penrose Community Care and Support (PCCS), and Joyce Ebihor, PCCS Support Worker, attended the Lambeth Care Sector Awards 2023.

The event was held in Lambeth Town hall, hosted by Cllr Claire Holland, Leader of Lambeth Council, and was a celebration of staff excellence in both home care and care homes across the borough.

The event was absolutely fantastic and the venue was filled with inspirational people who deliver exceptional care and support to those in need within the borough. Veronica was therefore in excellent company when her name was announced as the winner of the Home Care Manager of the Year Award 2023!

PCCS was inspected by Lambeth a few months ago and after the inspection Veronica and Joyce and were invited to star in the video (above) which kicked off the whole event and set the tone for how Lambeth see and want the care and support within their borough to be delivered. Federica Bravin, Field Care Co-ordinator, was also shown in photos displayed on screen throughout the afternoon.

Huge congratulations to Veronica and the PCCS team for this tremendous achievement. It is thoroughly deserved.
