The Social Interest Group has been awarded the Investors in People (IiP) standard – a nationally recognised quality framework which helps organisations to improve their performance and realise their objectives through the effective management and development of their people.
The internationally recognised Investors in People standard defines what it takes to lead, support and manage people well for sustainable results.
This accreditation adds to the ISO 9001 standard, which was achieved in November 2014 by the Social Interest Group. ISO 9001 is the internationally recognised standard for quality management systems.
Paul Lynas, Planning and Performance Manager at the Social Interest Group, said: “These trusted external accreditations demonstrate that we have efficient and effective quality management systems at the Social Interest Group. Transparency and external assessments help us to drive continuous improvement across the Social Interest Group.
“This gives assurance to our members and their service users, our staff and commissioners, that we are robust and accountable in terms of quality and compliance. These standards also show our commitment to our workforce management and development.”
