Service description

This service creates a pathway that promotes an ethos of inclusion, recovery and progression, through building confidence, training and development opportunities for those who are socially isolated or lacking a network of support.

Connects creates opportunities for training, personal development, peer mentoring, volunteering and opportunities to progress to paid employment.

The Connects weekly social group offers opportunities to learn skills, conversation, building confidence and self- esteem, as well as offering visits and recreational activities.

Connects also offers a timetable of training workshops across Luton and Bedford such as, managing independence, health, fitness, photography, music, cooking, art therapy, interview skills and CV writing.
