Pathways to Independence Joins the Social Interest group (SIG)

We are pleased to announce that Pathways to Independence has joined the Social Interest Group.

We welcome Pathways to Independence, a Kent based charity specialising in homelessness and rehabilitation of offenders, as it becomes the newest member to join the group.

This is a significant step for both charities; it strengthens both charities and the offer to the people they support, providing shared resources, learning, increased governance, risk management and opportunities for strengthening growth.

Gill Arukpe will continue as Group CEO, with Helen Campbell-Wroe taking up a new role as Senior Director of Operations within SIG. Helen will continue to lead  Pathways to Independence and has clear remit to build and grow the incredible work she and her team have been delivering across Kent and Medway.

“We are delighted to be joining forces with Pathways to Independence, whose expertise in supporting the homeless and offenders fits well with the SIG’s values and ethos. This joining will strengthen the group and add to its capability to provide best in class services and reach out to even more people in need, whilst stimulating further growth.” Gill Arukpe, CEO, Social Interest Group

“We are absolutely thrilled to be joining the Social Interest Group. Their reputation for delivering high-quality services, combined with our unique expertise and talented team, will bring fantastic benefits for the people we support and will strengthen both charities for the future.” Helen Campbell-Wroe, CEO, Pathways to Independence
