The Social Interest Group is committed to meaningful Service User Involvement. We support and encourage all our Service Users to take an active role in the design and delivery of their own services.

In 2019, we launched our own Service User Involvement Framework called ‘Stronger Together’. This requires each service to identify and demonstrate how they do this now and describe their plan to engage Service Users more effectively over the coming years.

We use the model of the ‘ladder of involvement’ to inform how we support and empower Service Users This includes getting feedback and evaluating our services, active participation in support plans, being part of recruitment panels, working together to create communal living agreements, improving physical surroundings, organising events, developing the role of peer mentor and any other activities that promote the health and wellbeing of our Service Users while improving the quality of our services.
