ISO 9001 is an internationally recognised accreditation that demonstrates an organisation is committed to having high quality systems in place.
The renewal of our ISO 9001 accreditation evidences to our commissioners and service users that the Social Interest Group and our members have relevant and tested systems, which improve quality, efficiency and performance. This offers reassurance to all our stakeholders that we can continue to provide better support to our service users.
In order to maintain this accreditation, our Quality & Compliance team at the Social Interest Group monitor closely throughout the year that policies and procedures are followed. This enables them to evidence that our systems work well. Evidence is gathered from many additional sources across the organisation, including CQC reports, workforce development certificates and finance documentation. Once collated, our Quality & Compliance team review all the evidence and write a detailed audit report.
External auditing in November 2015 confirmed our ISO 9001 accreditation until November 2016.
